Weapons System Flexible Sustainment contract option awarded

Date: 2010-07-01

The US Air force has decided to continue TQS as the performing contractor for the Weapons System Flexible Sustainment (WSFS) engineering services contract. WSFS, formerly known as Falcon Flex provides root cause failure analysis and performance based acquisition recommendations to the 416 Supply Chain Management Squadron, part of the Air Force Global Logistics Support Center (GLSC). WSFS and Falcon flex have been successful at identifying low cost, commercially available parts that can replace high failure items in complex avionics assets. Falcon Flex was originally an F-16 program but was expanded to include other fighter weapons systems whose supply chains are managed at Ogden by the 416 SCMS.
